Hay Creek Ranch is a campground/horse ranch up in the Black Hills, far off the beaten path. We stayed in the 'Line Shack', a 12 x 12 log cabin with no electricity or water. When I orginally told the boys about it, Mason said, "Can't we just sleep in the car?". But after spending the night there, he declared it the best place we stayed.
