Grandma's Boot Camp
Swinging is one of Cameron's all time favorite activities, only listening to music and singing loudly while swinging tops it on his list. He treated us to such classics as "I Saw the Sign", "All Star" (by Smash Mouth), and "Particle Man" (They Might Be Giants).
Grandpa taught Mason to drive the boat. Mason has taken on a lot more responsibility recently, he is mowing the lawn at home and signed up to mow at church as well.
Mason is quite the fisherman. He and grandpa had been stalking a huge bass all week. They finally landed it in a joint effort the last day up there....17 inches!
I have hooked my kids on They Might Be Giants (via the albums - Here Comes the 123's and Here comes the ABC's, Jack Johnson via the Curious George movie, Hillsong via some kids worship DVD's and Schoolhouse Rocks). It's quite an improvement over Barney and the Wiggles.
ReplyDeleteSend Mason over to my house. My grass needs help.
