I was the fortunate recipient of a trip to Oahu, Hawaii this August with our dear friend from Russia, Vera. This was the view from our apartment, which was about two blocks off the beach (where we spent most of our days):
Vera loves to take pictures, this one is special, as it was taken the day I left. (Vera stayed in Hawaii for another few weeks).
