With the pugs gone (re-homed) we decided to participate in dog fostering with a local dog rescue. Our first guest is Rags the dog. Rags was saved from an animal shelter where he was after being found wandering the streets. (The dog fostering is a sly way to try dogs out before we commit to getting one and having to go through the tears, protests - "I'm not getting out of bed until you say we can keep the pugs!" -- and general sadness of giving up long time pets).
